What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy works by changing the way you think about a problem. Willpower and reasoning ability are sometimes simply not enough to overcome a problem. Hypnotherapy uses the most powerful part of our mind, the unconscious, to change our thinking without conscious effort.
I am based near Cambridge and also practise from the Harley Street Hypnotherapy Clinic in London one day per week. I use hypnotherapy to treat a range of problems which limit clients’ lives. These include giving up smoking, weight loss, confidence and self-esteem issues, alcohol dependency, compulsive and addictive behaviour, self-harming, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), exam tension, fears, phobias and panic attacks.
Is hypnotherapy safe?
Hypnotherapy is a safe form of treatment. It is completely natural, with no use of drugs, injections, or physical contact. There is no loss of control and you can always ‘come to’ when you are under hypnotherapy if you decide you want to.
